Women Supporting Women

Women Supporting Women is a local women’s project with a choice of support services including one to one sessions, groups, monthly drop-ins and Peep sessions.

Our waiting list for one to one support is currently closed, but women can still access other services provided.

We can offer a safe, confidential, flexible service for women who are experiencing isolation, anxiety, emotional or mental health issues, abuse, violence, relationship and family difficulties.

A friendly, accessible member of our team is available to chat with you.

Come along to our First Friday of the Month Drop-Ins between 10 am and 12 noon. All welcome. Please phone at least a day in advance if you need to book creche spaces.

If you would like to get involved but something makes that difficult for you, please get in touch with Orlaith.

Project Quote:
When I came to WSW there was no judgement which meant I didn’t have to hold back and I could speak freely; as I spoke I realised what I was thinking and feeling about my life. The staff are so accepting, friendly; and not too formal. It is a safe place and felt like a weight had been lifted off me as soon as I walked in. When I attended the groups it felt good to be more myself with others and share a connection with others who were there for similar reasons to me although we never spoke directly about our issues.
