Burns Night Community Ceilidh

PCHP through the Food for Thought Forum are happy to support Granton Community Gardeners and this year's Burns night community ceilidh

As usual, it will take place at Royston Wardieburn Community Center from 5pm-9pm on Saturday 3rd of February 

Festive farm trip

It may still be too early for some in November, but here at PCHP we are already getting into the Christmas spirit.

We are organizing a fun-filled, family Christmas trip to the Cyrenians farm on the afternoon of Friday the 16th of December.

Transport will be provided to and from the farm on the day, so if you would like to find out more and come along, get in contact to book your place.

Wednesday Cooking Club

Food and your Body

These NEW information sheets will help you eat well.

Designed to cover 6 different body systems, each sheet gives a brief introduction to a specific area of the body, along with lots of helpful information on foods that can help to keep these areas healthy and working well.

On the reverse of each resource sheet is a healthy recipe that makes use of the foods and ingredients that are of particular benefit to that body system

Meal Makers Cooking Group

Then come along to our new block of Meal Makers cooking classes, starting every Tuesday 10am-12 noon from May 5th.

We are planning a one day community discussion around Food Poverty on Monday 1st December 2014 from 9.30am-2.30pm.  It will take place at West Pilton Neighbourhood Centre
(19 West Pilton Grove, EH4 4BY).

We aim to explore how we can work together to tackle food poverty in the area.
