Everyday First Aid Course

The Red Cross will deliver their everyday first aid course at Pilton Community Health Project in February.  Their ‘everyday’ approach provides a quick and easy way to learn first aid skills.

Free course running at Pilton Community Health Project on the 8th, 15th and 22nd February 2012, 9:30-11.30am. Come along and learn how to help in medical emergencies big and small.

Come along to Living Well North on Tuesday March 13th  from 10 – 12  if you have questions for our friendly health information team.

 

Community Food Forum. 

If you want better food, or support others who live locally to get better food, these meetings are for you.  We want to bring people together to create dynamic and fun food activities across Greater Pilton.  The next meeting will happen on Thursday 22nd March at 10.00am at West Pilton Neighbourhood Centre.  Call Anita on 551 1671 for more information.

The Yummy Food Festival

On the 16th March 2012, 12 noon till 5pm, PCHP will be hosting its first ever  healthy food festival.  Celebrating the culinary delights in North Edinburgh, this FREE event will make a great fun family afternoon.  Take part in a variety of  food demonstrations, attend cooking workshops,  listen to story telling,  make art,  or visit the gardening and craft tents. So come along and try out something  new and be inspired by all the healthy recipies at the Yummy Food Festival.
