Board

Being a director is one of the most challenging and rewarding roles anyone can volunteer to take on.

The role of the Board is to lead the organisation – by setting the vision for the organisation and running it in a way that will achieve these aims.

The challenges are many. Some people find the legal responsibilities hard to understand; others struggle with the jargon, or feel that they are not really making a difference.  But the rewards are that your time, effort and commitment really do make all the difference to our organisation and the services we provide to the community. None of it would be possible without the Board.

The Board is made up of people who live locally and bring their knowledge and experience of living in the area to Board decisions and people with specific skills or knowledge (e.g. finance, employment law) that will help us run the organisation.  Find out more about our current Board members by clicking here

The Board of Directors are elected once a year at the Annual General Meeting.
